I was never really a fan of paddle holsters until I designed my own. I realize that this sounds self centered but I make no apologies for wanting to make a better mouse trap. To each his own. Some folks want their paddle to contour their curvy body. I want my paddle to contour the gun and lock in place on the belt.

I never set out to design a retention holster. There are many on the market with varying degrees of retention both on the belt and for the gun. This is a concealment holster that can be worn under an untucked shirt with minimal printing. You 3% body fat types who wear painted on muscle shirts may have a problem with printing. But the rest of us who wear loose fitting shirts to hide years of physical neglect find it easy to conceal with a JS Paddle Holster.

A couple of notes on use. I wear the holster just aft of my center line on my primary side, just aft of some bone that must be part of the hip. This is where I also wear IWB. This paddle design feels like an IWB (our IWB at least). If you wear this holster directly on your hip bone it will probably be uncomfortable unless you are some kind of iron man who doesn't have time to feel pain. For the rest of us, just aft of the center line should work.

Lastly, Kydex© is durable, not indestructable. You need only move the paddle 1/4" and slide the holster over your belt/pants. If you pull the paddle away from the holster any more than 1/4" you will damage the holster. Please remind your friends of this as many who see your holster will want to hold it in their hands. I've watched my share of people snap the paddle right off as if they felt some cosmic challenge to determine the flexibility of our holsters. Nothing is worse than having the most comfortable holster you have ever worn broken by some knucklehead who did the "uh huh, yeah, I hear you, no problem" routine while you were explaining the 1/4" rule.

Oh and we cannot say this enough. If you buy any of our holsters and find that you are not satisfied please contact us. We will either re-craft the order or refund your purchase to include shipping. We have invested a great deal of time and effort into perfecting our process. We don't want our design to take up residence in your box of old and forgotten holsters.
